Historical Background
PEOPLE FIRST CONSULTING & STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

People First Consulting was established in the year 2000, by Mathoka Mamabolo. PFC used to operate under the name: Mathoka Development and Management Consultancy (MDMC), which then changed to People First Consulting and Education Institute.

The company emerged by capacitating community based/non-governmental organization and corporate clients.

People First Consulting has gained experience through working with clients from different settings thus enabling us to broaden our areas of expertise.

People First Consulting is thus a black woman owned organization which meets all the requirements of the Historical Disadvantage Individual (HDI).

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

In the quest for self reliance and creating strategic partnerships, People First Consulting found a home within a group of Mental Health professionals such as social workers and psychologist in private practice experienced in provision of consulting professional services. The partnership has among themselves well resourced team of professionals who will be seconded to the project under the name PEOPLE FIRST CONSULTING AND EDUCATION INSTITUTE.

REGISTRATION WITH RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL BODIES

Professionals working with PFC are registered with South African Council for Social Services Profession and South African Health Council as required.

The company is registered with EAPA SA and pledged to comply with the EAPA SA code of ethics.

People First Consulting is in the process of establishing an advisory committee (as recommended by the standard for Employee Assistance Programs in South Africa EAPA), which will provide the organization the expertise it need to, carry its vision and achieve excellent performance. Those Professionals (Highly experienced Social Workers, psychologists researchers health professionals leadership and management strategic mentors and business coach are providing their expertise now but process is heading to formalization of the relationship after proper recruitment screening takes place.
